The Governing Board meets formally once a term to discuss the Headteacher’s report and matters raised by the Chief Education Officer. The committees also meet termly and their minutes are reviewed and contribute to the Full Governing Board meeting.

- Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils
- Overseeing the financial performance of the school, making sure its money is well spent
